All the people here want to fight. Sometimes we think MINURSO (UN mission) must be Moroccans because they do nothing for us. Polisario are our leaders and we listen to them but one day, the women and the youth and all the people will not listen to them anymore because our patience will run out. I was born in Western Sahara in 1955. It was good there; we went everywhere because we were Bedouin. We went to El Aaiún, Tan Tan, Dakhla because all these were our cities then.

I remember the Spanish, they were not like the Moroccans but they were close. They betrayed us. When they withdrew suddenly there were Moroccans, they came at night. We had to leave very quickly, I was separated from my three month old son, my mother fled with him. My breast was full and I fed other babies. I cried everyday. After four days I found my mother and my son and I were together again. From 1975 Moroccans began torturing Saharawi and until now still use barbaric ways, many people disappear and we don't know what happens to them. During the war the camps were ran by the women, we were very organized, we built schools, toilets and trenches.

Today if we get our freedom we are organized and ready to run our country. We have doctors and pilots and administrators and specialists, all the people are ready. Our sons have studied in many countries like Cuba, Russia, Algeria, France, Libya, Spain, everywhere!
